~Shreya's POV~

We reached Shrida's house by 11pm. Everyone was tired but since we didn't have any dates left, we had to do the bachelorette today only. Also it would be better because tomorrow there is no function so we can rest after a sleepless night.

We quickly went into our room to change. Myra had selected bodycon dresses for everyone from the market. Earlier I denied her as we were doing all this at home where elders are also there and even the boys. But, then agreed since we will be in our room only. So, there won't be any problem.

"Shreya yaar look at this. These speakers aren't ready to work." Anya called me to help her. She was fixing the speaker for music. "Wait I will do this." Myra said and handed me the remaining ribbon that she was using to make bows. Yes the 'I am just a girl' bow. The decoration and lighting was done within half an hour. We got ready in our shimmer outfits by 12am. I had already ordered food for us keeping in mind the bride's choices. Then Shrida put on her playlist and we started dancing.

After half an hour I got the notification that the food is packed and will reach anytime soon. I took Myra with me and came out of the house through the backdoor, basically to the parking area and we waited for the delivery guy. I just hope no one comes here sleepwalking.

~Vedant's POV~

I and Maheer were waiting for Kabir's call in sluggish mode. To avoid sleep, we decided to go out of the room for a walk because seeing all these faces resting in a deep slumber was making us more sleepy. We came out of the room and went towards the parking lot.

"Kaha mar gaya tera Kabir? What if he has already slept and we are here waiting for him?" Maheer said and yawned. "He can't dare to disobey me. You know that." I replied and he showed me a thumbs up yawning again as we walked further.
(Where did your Kabir die?)

"And if he ever dares then-" What the-

I choked on my words and cupped my mouth looking at the scene in front me. I stopped walking and Maheer followed me. My hand fell and I gulped as I looked at Shreya standing at some distance from me. She was wearing a red dress or gown or I don't know what it is called which reached above her knees with a black leather jacket.

She was looking so damn hot. I kept looking at her seraphic face. My eyes studied hers to be impatient. I guess she is waiting for some delivery or stuff because she is checking her phone frequently. Then my eyes fell on her lips once again. They looked like a cherry. They must be very sweet I bet. I stood there stunned but just then I realized Maheer was looking that way too. What the-

I immediately put my right palm on his eyes and covered his view by standing in front of him. "What the hell Maheer? Stop looking at her." "Abey kyu?" Sleep has done something to him. Well he is anyways acting drunk all the time. "Are you out of your mind? Why are you gawking at Shreya?" He instantly removed my palm and pushed me to make me stand beside him. "Dhyan se dekh Myra bhi hai, nahi matlab nahi tu mat dekh par mujhe dekhne de" God!!! Listening to him, I realized we were staring at our girls like some roadside lovers. Thank god none of them sensed our presence here.
(Why?)
(Look carefully Myra is also there. I mean no you don't look but let me do.)

"Maheer" I called him and turned towards him to ask him to go back to the room but then realized that he was not there. I again looked in Shreya's direction and saw Maheer was walking towards Myra. Ab neend nahi aa rahi isse? Paagal
(Isn't he sleepy now? Moron)

I tried to call him in a low voice because it would be no use shouting as Shreya and Myra will anyways get to know about us being here. It might make them uncomfortable. I face palmed thinking about their reaction. This crackhead will fall into the well and take me with him too. Bloody idiot!!!!

~Shreya's POV~

We were waiting for the food delivery guy when I saw Maheer coming towards us. I got very embarrassed considering the outfit I wore. This is the reason I didn't want to wear these but no Myra wanted some fun. Now have fun idiot. Your man is here. Maheer came and stood in front of Myra unable to blink looking at her. I knew it and there you go, she started blushing.

"You here? At this time?" I asked him breaking there romantic gaze. For god's sake I am here too. Stop making me feel single. Shrida's house doesn't even have floors to jump from.

"Ummm actually I wanted Myra's dupatta." And he spoke nonsense when nothing could have come in his mind. "What?" Myra asked. "Woh- woh actually- actually my sherwani's dupatta is lost somewhere so can you lend me any one of yours?" Nice save.

"Okay I will give it to you tomorrow. Fine?"

"Nahi abhi chahiye" Man isn't he done with embarrassment? He's totally whipped I tell you.
(No i want it now)

"But-" "Myra just give it now. Otherwise he won't be able to sleep. I will receive the order. Relax." I said cutting her in between. They both went towards the backdoor and I stood here waiting. God it's taking a lot of time. I checked my phone and came to know it's already 1am.

Holy crap!!! Embarrassment part 2. Vedant is coming here. You were feeling single, no? Now bear it. I hid my face and prayed it to be a dream but he came and stood in front of me. "By any chance, did Maheer come this way? Actually we were on a walk. Then he went somewhere and I can't find him now."

"You guys were walking at this time?" I asked in surprise. "Actually we were waiting for an important call. Wait, you are also outside at this time and you are questioning me?" He reacted like a kid who is being accused of eating someone else's chocolate. "Actually I am waiting for the food delivery guy and for Maheer, he needed some stuff from Myra so they went backdoors." I said but he didn't seem to listen anything. He was lost somewhere. I guess he is set to retard again.

I moved back my gaze to the road but then something touched my feet. As I looked down, I got freezed as I saw a frog. "Aaaaaa" I shouted in fear but Vedant immediately came near me and cupped my mouth. "Why the hell are you shouting? Problem hai toh mujhe boldo mai chala jaunga, chillane ki kya jarurat hai, koi aa gaya toh kya sochega?" He uttered whole nonsense while I could still feel the frog near my feet. I tried to speak but his firm grip pinned me to the wall behind and the frog jumped away.
(If you have problem, then tell me. What's the need to shout? If someone comes here, what will they think?)

The chaos vanished and our eyes met. I gulped in nervousness having him so close to me and got lost in his eyes. He removed his hands and kept it on the wall above my head. I could not understand his action. I stepped aside to move away as I could not handle the proximity but he kept his one hand on my waist and pulled me back. I got pinned to the wall again.

My voice seemed to be stuck in my throat but I tried calling him. "Vedant. What are you-?" I was stopped in between as he kept his finger on my lips using the hand that was on the wall few seconds ago. I don't know what he is going to do but it does not feel odd or uncomfortable. His presence is always pleasant and calm.

His hand moved on my waist to cage me completely into his arm and shiver ran down my whole body. I just stood looking at him and we didn't broke eye contact all this time as if we forgot to blink. Then he leaned towards me but stopped in between. I could not understand his move.

"Can I?" He asked. Man stop being so hot please. You are already irresistible. I just blinked my eyes in response and he held my face with his other hand. He again started leaning towards my face but then-

His phone rang and we lost concentration. The hell!!! "God who the hell wants to die right now?" He said in frustration. Yeah exactly, do it. I would help to hide the body. Is this a time to call? This late at night?

He picked up the call and said in one go "Kabir send me the recording later and don't dare to call again or better find another job." And disconnected the call. He closed his eyes in frustration and hit his forehead with his phone. I could not control laughing at his action.

~Vedant's POV~

Kabir dear get ready for extra work. I won't let this dude leave office for the whole upcoming week. What man!!! He ruined it all.

I was thinking all this closing my eyes in frustration when I heard Shreya laughing and looked at her. How can someone manage to look cute and hot at the same time? But wait, she turned the whole romantic atmosphere into a comedy one.

Wasting no time, I pulled her towards me and kissed her right cheek. She stopped laughing and became breathless. I could feel her heavy breathe on my neck. Leaving her right cheek, I moved to the left and did the same. After a while I leaned back. She was still in my arms and her breathing got quicker. She looked at me and gulped in nervousness. Both her cheeks were actually red now. And Ms Blushful was a blushing mess.

"What happened now?"
"Huh?"
"Laugh na Why did you stop? You were enjoying seeing me frustrated, right? So continue. Laugh."
"N-no that-actually-that was just-" She was looking so innocent at this moment and I liked her nervousness whenever I was close to her.

"Think before laughing again because it will be an actual punishment next time." I whispered getting close to her ear.
"Wh-what?" She exclaimed.
"Yeah like kissing on your lips or maybe –" she covered my mouth with her palm.
"How could you speak all this directly?" She asked in a surprising tone raising her eyebrows.
"Oh wow we can do it and I can't even spe-" I removed her hand from my mouth and was speaking when I was again cutoff in the middle but not by her.

She pushed me and I almost fell but took support of the wall turning around. I saw the delivery guy standing there with the food. "Sir your order." He said in his bitter voice that cut me off in the middle. The number of people I wish to kill is increasing at a high rate. I gathered the shattered pieces of my heart as the girl I was just going to kiss pushed me hard that I almost fell on my back.

"Aa jaa tu bhi aaja" I said in a raised voice when Shreya hit me with her elbow and went to take the order. She was about to pay but I went near and did the payment.
(Come, you also come.)

"Why did you pay?" She asked angrily after the delivery guy left.

"Ummm I shouldn't have?" I asked in confusion. I actually didn't think of any reason before doing it.

"No, you shouldn't have. I am capable of paying my bills. Don't you dare do it again." She said almost shouting at me. It was my turn to take steps backward. "Listen send me your UPI ID right now or I am not taking this food with me." I did as she asked otherwise it would me my last day on earth. She transferred the same amount to me and left.

She doesn't like someone else paying for her. Noted. But now that I pissed her off, I will have to think of ways to pacify her. What the hell Vedant?

After a while I saw Maheer coming towards me. What the-?

"Bro how can you be this shameless? At least wipe off the lipstick marks from you face." I said to him in astonishment. "Ahh leave it. Chal na sote hain" He said pulling me towards the room. I promise I am not this cheap but right now, I am feeling very jealous of him. Adding him to the list of people I want to kill.
(Let's get to sleep.)

Before sleeping, I watched the video sent by Kabir and showed it to Maheer too. Not to forget to splash a jug of water on his face because he was actually planning to sleep like this. Myra gotta thank me for saving her from embarrassment because this creature next to me is shameless to eternity.
